About Me…

If I name all of my identifiers, my list would look something like this: Christian, mom, sister, daughter, mentor, leader, friend, counselor, avid reader, visionary, writer for Whole Magazine, distributor for the awesome It Works Global company, chef in training, disciple, missionary, slightly neurotic, lover of the lost, change maker, Facebook addict, blogger, movie fanatic, anti-human trafficking advocate, closet control freak, kingdom builder, Korean drama junkie, hopeless romantic and writer. I laugh with no restraint, I dream beyond the natural, and my potential is endless all because I let Christ mend my broken pieces. I am free.

I have wanted to be a writer since I was a kid but thanks to the bumps and bruises of life, I put that dream on hold. After a 10 year case of writers block, I finally got the writing bug last summer. I created this blog as a way to unload all the random musings and revelations taking up space in my head thanks to this amazing life changing spiritual journey I started in 2009. Now, it has become my own personal therapist couch and makeshift soapbox. You can check out my testimony here.

Enjoy

  1. Hi! I just “found” you through katie @ still growing. I was especially drawn to your title. That passage has been on my mind so much lately. I want to be Jesus’ love letter to others! So amazing how when we live in Him, our lives tell His story in a totally unique way that no one else’s can. Too wonderful for words. I have a blog where I, too, process what the Divine Therapist is working on with me. Feel free to visit anytime: http://www.processingtheword.wordpress.com. I did write one post about being a love letter for Christ. If you want to check it out, it’s called “signed, sealed, delivered…I’m yours!”.
May God bless you and make His face shine upon you as you seek after Him today!

    • Thanks so much for stumbling across my blog. I’ve browsed some of Katie’s posts and saw your comments and enjoyed your insight. I came to realize that no matter how much preaching and speaking we do, if our lives aren’t a reflection of Christ then its hard for others to truly see how wonderful He really is. I will definitely be checking out your blog!

      • What you said makes me think of this truth: “If I speak in tongues of men and of angels, but have not love (CHRIST IN ME), I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbol,” (1 Cor. 13:1 with my addition in italics). Since I started blogging several months ago, I feel God impressing on my heart the importance of only speaking His truth in love – that every part of my life flow out of my relationship with Him. Lately, I am really feeling Jesus’ leading me to constantly stay at His feet confessing and receiving His love and forgiveness to keep my heart pure so that I can be His trustworthy messenger – carrying Him in my heart.

  2. I just want to say that I completely agree with what you wrote (with emphasis on the slightly neurotic part). Wink wink. But seriously, I am so proud of you for leaping out there with your blogs. You are a great writer, story teller, babysitter, and above all else, friend. I am so honored to have met you and look forward to watching your writing journey unfold before me. Hope we can IHOP well into our days.

    • Thank you Q. That means so much to me (queue the tears). I am loving the fruit coming from this writing process and the mental space it is freeing up (so much stuff up there). I don’t know how, where, when, or why but this is all something God has originated and orchestrated. I would personally like to thank Eden for being born and bringing is together. Who knew a gift card could spark an incredible friendship. Thanks for being on the ride with me and we will IHOP into the sunset.

    • Thanks so much for reading! I’ve been extra busy lately and havent been able to post regularly but plan on jumping back into the swing of things very soon.

    • You are welcome. I found your blog from the Pinky Promise website and had to check it out since there are so many talented writers there. I definitely look forward to reading more of your blog!

      Have a great week!

      Frances

  3. Hi! I stumbled across your blog and I love it! God has really moved my heart to go on a mission trip to Peru to fight sexual slavery. If you could shoot me an email with some information on what organizations/people I could connect with, that’d be incredible!

    In Christ,
    Eowyn Anne Muller
